Ralph Renzetti: A Master Modeller

I was in Toronto a few weeks ago and visited my friend Ralph Renzetti.  He is a fantastic modeller who has a wonderful knack for weathering.  He was doing this SD60M for me, but since I was taking down the LVN, I gave it to him as a gift.

 

 

I interview him in part one where he talks about his life in the hobby and shares his techniques.  In Part 2:  he takes us on a tour of his layout room which is heavy into the construction stage.

 

 

 

 

Railfanning Kamloops July 2014

Located around Kamloops BC this is a great rainfan site where both CN & CP provide a real show of mainline action through the Thompson Region in British Columbia Canada.  I spent four days watching trains from Ashcroft in the west, to Sevona, Kamloops Lake, and North and South Thompson Rivers.  The photo essay show how you can make portrait covers from landscape shots.  Enjoy.
