CSS08 Part 2

Lela traveled down to ol' Cape Cod and had a great time at Provincetown. Off season rates, brisk breezes off the Atlantic, east view at sunrise, and gourmet food (Scallops Alfredo)

Cape Cod has a garbage train and dinner train now. The trackage was originally part of New Haven Railroad but most has been torn up. There is a channel cut at Buzzards Bay which allows the ships to safely navigate the cape. There is a huge and I mean huge lift bridge here along with tower and station. It is located on the mainland side.

This was a great start. The next day we were off to George Selios' layout. Unfortunately no pictures are allowed. But you have seen the Franklin and South Manchester Railroad in many model magazines. I will try and add a photo later from the net so you can see it.
