LVN Port Mine Bridge

Lots of fun on the weekend putting in this scene at the north end of the port coal mine. Had to get a road across the tracks and bring it down to level so that the coal TREX trucks could deliver. I used the pink foam covered with celluclay, earth and grout. Added grond foam and trees to finish the job. It really makes a difference in lengthening the railway and diminishing the trains into the scenery.

This net scene is taken looking south from the golf course. The SD70Mac look quite at home leading this stack train north to Alberta

A track side view on the east inside main looking south. Do not ever stand on the tracks doing this. Never know when another train mayshow up on the track you are standing on.

A picture from a safer distance. You cannot get this view from the isle as it is taken from the corner looking back into the layout.

Here we are with a GP60M heading south to Montana. The bridge view is looking north toward the golf course.

The Helo view of the finished work. The bridge still needs a deck and be weathered

Across on the west side of the tracks the same train is viewed with the new scenery in the background

All in all another great 3 hours spent on the LVN. Have to get this work done as the layout maybe included in a feature film in July. More to follow on that front..

Great work, and as always - a great inspiration to leave my PC monitor and do some real work on my own railroad projects!
