First train on the Winchester Sub

Lela and I decided to go for a trip on the Thursday following the CP back to work order.  We hoped to catch some action with everything being backlogged.  No such luck.  We saw only one train that ran east from Smiths Falls to Montreal.  Unfortunately the parade was not going to start till that evening.  On top of that there was lots of rain.  Lucky for us we were able to see a VIA on CN trackage at Russel Road., just east of Carlsbad Springs on the way home.
