Visit to Smith Falls
Ron, Joel and I were visiting Lark Spur Lines hobby shop for our annual brown bag sale. After, we headed off to the station at Smith Falls to see what sort of rail action we could find. Not a freight went by, however, we saw three VIA's which run between Ottawa and Brockville. They connect to Montreal and Toronto through this North South Bridging line. It actually crosses over the CPR main at this station making for some interesting track switch alignments and photo action.
The first VIA arrived from the south and is entering the east end of the station track. This one stops for passengers. What a surprise. One of the two F40PH that have the Spiderman II paint scheme. These art billboards are applied using a vinal application.
