THE LYON VALLEY NORTHERN IS COMING DOWN
I have started to tear down my home layout and everything is for sale. It has been fun building it over the last 10 years but we are making plans for change and this railroad will not be part of it. Folks have been by (by appointment) and the stuff has been moving fast. Still lots of rolling stock and locomotives abailable. So if you are interested in dropping by give me a call or send an email.

Are you leaving the hobby completely?
Does this mean you are leaving the hobby?
Hi Guys. I will be doing other stuff in the hobby. Just the home layout has to come down.
I hope everything is alright Chris. Thanks for all the great ideas and posts about the LVN. Will you continue blogging? Take care!
Sorry to see it go. I have spent many a you tube night enjoying this railroad.
The operations videos you did with your friend Mike were some of the most enjoyable ,informative model railroad videos ever made. Penn Central, Conrail, CASO , Lyon Valley Northern. Please don't say it will become a new cycle path:)Best wishes to you and yours.
Hi James I will continue to blog and no it will not become a cycle path. Unless folks who purchase the house have little ones who like to ride tricycles in the winter.
Are you getting rid of any buildings? If so which ones. Also, are you selling those BN engines you had. The white and black... ones? Also, what rolling stock is for sale? You should post a vid on it.
The items on the Lyon Valley Northern are almost all sold. Local modelrailroaders have been gobbling it up with a big spoon. I will probably continue with this process through word of mouth until it is all gone. Thanks for the interest.
Thanks very much for all the kind words. I will try and keep the videos coming. I have several layouts on my radar and soon will be approaching the owners. Stay tuned
My young son, who has fallen in love with your videos of operating sessions on the LVN, will be so sad to hear that it is no more. In case you never knew, you were something of a super hero, in at least one child's mind. Thank you for the videos you shared while the LVN was up and running -- we are truly grateful.
That is indeed the nicest form of complement to be considered as a mentor for young folks. Cheers
